Basketball league
Welcome to a basketball league where kids come to play, compete, make friends, and grow in faith!
Our church basketball league is all about creating a place where kids can learn the game, build confidence, discover teamwork, and have a whole lot of fun. Whether they’re hitting their first layup or already dreaming of the game-winning shot, every player has a place on our court. But we’re about more than just basketball.
We want kids to learn lessons that go beyond the scoreboard — how to encourage a teammate, overcome challenges, show good sportsmanship, work hard, and lead with character.
Our Why
Sports are more than a game. They are an opportunity to build relationships, develop character, and change lives.
At Kiestwood Sports Outreach Ministry, we use sports as a bridge to connect with children, teenagers, families, and schools in our community. Through soccer and basketball, we create a safe and welcoming environment where young people can compete, grow, learn, and discover their God-given purpose.
We believe character matters more than the scoreboard. Every practice and every game is an opportunity to teach teamwork, discipline, integrity, perseverance, courage, humility, and respect.
But our purpose goes beyond athletics. We want every young person to have an opportunity to know Jesus Christ.
Through relationships, biblical teaching, prayer, encouragement, and the example of coaches and volunteers, we seek to share the hope of the Gospel and create pathways for continued discipleship.
We are not simply trying to develop better athletes. We are developing character. We are building community. We are strengthening families. We are sharing the Gospel. We are making disciples. We are raising leaders. The championship may last one day. The relationships we build can last a lifetime. The Sport Is the Platform. The Relationship Is the Bridge. The Gospel Is the Message.Discipleship Is the Goal.Every Game for the Gospel.
